About the event
Jonathan Daniels will be the subject of an antiracism forum following the 4 o’clock Celtic service this Sunday, October 18. During the Civil Rights Movement in August, 1965 Jonathan Daniels pulled Ruby Sales to the ground before a deputy sheriff could discharge his shotgun which then fatally hit Daniels in the chest. Saving Ruby Sales’ life by sacrificing his own Jonathan Daniels is now numbered among the martyrs of our faith."
